Dimitrije and Ilarion Ruvarac attempted to rehabilitate the Metropolitan of Karlovci, Jovan Georgijević, who entered into the Serbian history of culture for his notoriousness, mostly thanks to the negative opinion of him left by Jovan Rajić.
